Promotional lanyards come in many different varieties in order to suit different kinds of companies. Popular colors for lanyards include black, white, blue, yellow and red. The colors you choose should follow the principles to match your company logo and corporate colors. Under some circumstances, lanyards are purchased in colors which coordinate with specific events or occasions. The logo or carefully chosen wordings are imprinted in a repeat pattern (at equal distances) along the length of the lanyard cord. There can be several logos from more than one company on promotional lanyards. For example, for the sponsorships of charity events, the order of the logos is repetitive along the length of the cord.
Usually, lanyards are labeled by the type of attachment, such as a badge clip, swivel hook, key ring, etc. A badge clip for promotional lanyards is used to help display employee or visitor badges. The swivel hook is a clasp that can hold a badge or a set of keys attaches to the lanyard via a swivel mechanism that can be pushed inward to remove attachments from the hook. Lanyards with key ring hold keys and other small giveaways like a mini model of the company logo.
